Boscov said, throughout the coronavirus pandemic, the company’s first priority has been the health and safety of employees, customers and the community.

The company is following the recommendations of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention as well as other medical and governmental authorities. Forty-nine stores, distribution centers and offices have closed.

“We urge all businesses and individuals to follow the best advice of the medical community and be part of the solution,” Boscov said.

Boscov said he is confident, with the help of the company’s business partners and its “incredible team” of employees, the business will successfully navigate the crisis.

“And I promise that when we reopen our doors, customers will find the same incredible service, selection and pricing that Boscov’s is known for,” he said.
